Full Closure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel: from September to December 2025

An important infrastructure project is scheduled that may impact your travel plans.
From 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2025, to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will be completely closed for 15 consecutive weeks due to essential reconstruction work on sections of the tunnel vault.
During the closure period, we strongly recommend using alternative routes. We therefore encourage you to plan your journeys in advance to avoid disruptions.
